Aurigny

Aurigny Air Services has migrated to Avantik four years ago and has managed to significantly reduce its distribution costs through the implementation of a jointly developed true multi-channel distribution plan. Aurigny makes use of the best of two distribution worlds. It distributes its inventory through full GDS participation in Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre and Worldspan. At the same time it has managed to significantly increase web sales and direct distribution with the implementation of Avantik’s web booking engine products. The B2E corporate portal has been developed in close cooperation with Aurigny and has proved to be a very cost effective tool proving popular with UK and Channel Islands corporate customers getting direct access to private fares and extensive reporting.  Peach

Peach are Japan’s first true LCC and they selected Mercator’s Avantik solution in order to have a complete airline management solution,  inclusive  of DCS, web  check-in  and,  as  a  first  for  Japan,  kiosk  check-in  at  the airport.  Through Avantik’s scalable and flexible architecture, Peach intend to expand their domestic routes and also launch international services this year. www.flypeach.com

 

Merpati

Garuda’s sister carrier Merpati is a driving force behind Avantik’s B2B solution allowing it to give its thousands of direct distribution travel agents (that it invoices directly from Avantik) maximum control over their sales and waitlisting process like they were used to from the legacy system in use before but at a much lower cost. Merpati has selected Avantik ahead of its planned regional expansion that will significantly increase its passenger volumes beyond the 3.5 million passengers it has carrier in 2009.    www.merpati.co.id

 

 Germania

Germania has implemented Avantik in 2010 to allow it to manage its single seat direct sales and indirect tour operator distribution in a single Passenger Services System. Mercator and Germania have jointly designed and implemented Charter Management modules for Avantik that allow Germania to automatically load and process Tour Operator Passenger Name Lists from a wide range of European tour operators and to sell services directly to the passengers of its tour operating partners. In addition, thanks to Avantik, Germania has significantly increased its own direct distribution through its B2C and B2B portals on www.flygermania.de
